Friends of Ronin Karate, or F.O.R.K., is a volunteer group of parents who organize the Karate Banquet, the Kick-Nic, and Community Service events and projects. Without the efforts of these volunteers, lots of the activities that hold our program together couldn't happen.
F.O.R.K. board positions are a one-year commitment. If you have the time to help, we'd really appreciate your participation. Besides, it's a great activity to put on your resume!
F.O.R.K. also needs parents to work on occasional projects with shorter time commitments. We understand that everyone doesn't have the time to help out for a full year, and appreciate any time you can commit to sharing.
If you're a parent of a Ronin Karate student and would like be a member of the Board, or if you'd like to just help out on the occasional project, please call or email Mr. Burns!
If you know of a community service or fund-raising project that our students can work on, or any community event where they can work, please email Mr. Burns. We are particularly in need of things for elementary school students!
F.O.R.K. members can collaberate on projects using the F.O.R.K. Wiki, where they can keep track of what is going on, what needs to be done, and how it was done last time.
