March 31, 2010 - Ronin Karate Black Belt Colin Burns won the Men's 94 kilogram weight class at the 29th Annual Spartan Open Weightlifting Championships, March 27. Colin had a clean-and-jerk lift of 158 kilos and a snatch of 136 kilos for a total of 294 kilos. He won the Overall Best Lifter trophy and qualified for the USA National Weightlifting Championships to be held in Peoria, Ill., June 12. Congratulations, Colin!

May 3, 2008 - Ryan Colden won the Men's Grand Championship at the 20th Anniversary American Black Belt Academy Invitational Tournament in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Ryan won 1st place in forms, 1st place in sparring, and 3rd place in breaking to take the lead in performance points and the grand championship. Ryan last competed at the ABBA tournament in 1999, when he also won the Grand Championship. Congratulations, Ryan!
